Why choosing a multicoupling system?

In practice, it has been shown that tools are changed much more frequently via a system than without. This means that the right attachment is always used. This saves time and protects the material. Especially with small and compact machines, these systems fully exploit their advantages compared to machines. The decisive factor here is not just the pure price advantage, but rather the price-performance ratio. The only slightly longer changing time compared to automatic machines is compensated for by performance advantages in the clutch. The attachment to the handle does not cause any loss of performance due to small cable cross-sections, as can occur in cramped installation situations in machines. The weight saving also increases machine performance and saves fuel.

The Pister Multicoupling - how it works

Quick and easy changing of the attachments by the machine operator, even under high residual pressures in the attachment. Contamination of the hydraulic system can be largely ruled out, since easy-to-clean, flat-sealing "Flatflace" hydraulic couplings are installed. In addition, the couplings are equipped with effective protective devices or parking garages. These devices protect against coarse dirt and dust.

The main line from DN 20 upwards is equipped with a hydraulic lock. This prevents unintentional opening of the quick coupling system under high system pressure.

Special features of the Pister multicoupling system

Multicouplers are self-locking when closedFrom DN20 with hydraulic locking to prevent accidental opening under pressureMachine side: plug - tool side: socketCouplings of different sizes possible in one systemIndividual coupling assignment depending on the attachment Blind assignment with protective caps for cables that are not requiredToggle lever mechanism for optimal path-force progression (registered design)Anti-twist protection for couplings (increased service life)Integrated locking systemCompatible with Taklock systems from W. Advantages of the Pister multicoupling system

The multi-coupling is mounted independently of the quick coupler. As a result, existing machines with a wide variety of quick couplers can simply continue to be used without expensive retrofitting. Use of hydraulic hammers and other demolition tools is possible without restrictions. Mounting on the side of the stick prevents excessive dirt. Additional protection in the uncoupled state thanks to the parking station (for tool couplings) and protective plate (on the machine side) Extremely flat and compact design protects against damage. Low additional weight on the boom increases machine performance and saves fuel compared to automatic machines or similar Couplings allow work in sensitive areas and in landscaping. Existing tools can be retrofitted or downgraded without major and expensive conversion work. An advantage when using rental tools.
